Job Title: Staff Nurse
Job Overview
Zen Hospital is seeking dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurses to join our team. The Staff Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in various departments, including ICU, Casualty, Ward, Operation Theatre (OT), and Outpatient Department (OPD). The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients in assigned departments (ICU, Casualty, Ward, OT, or OPD).
Monitoring and Assessment: Observe, assess, and record patients' conditions, symptoms, and responses to treatments, reporting any changes to the attending physician.
Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hospital protocols.
Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, specialists, and support staff in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Emergency Response: Provide immediate care in emergencies, following hospital protocols such as "Code Blue" for cardiac arrest or stroke scenarios.
Patient Education: Educate patients and families on health management, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including charts, reports, and care plans, in compliance with hospital standards.
Infection Control: Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
Equipment Handling: Operate and monitor medical equipment in ICU, OT, or other departments, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
Support Services: Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries as required, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Registered Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) with 4-5 years of experience may also be considered.
Registration: Valid registration with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or Telangana Nursing Council.
Experience:
Fresher or 1+ years of experience in ICU, Casualty, Ward, OT, or OPD settings preferred.
Experience in multi-specialty hospitals is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong clinical and patient care skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Compassionate, patient-focused approach with attention to detail.
Proficiency in handling medical equipment and maintaining accurate records.
Availability: Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support 24/7 hospital operations.
Preferred Qualities

Ability to handle high-pressure situations, especially in emergencies.
Familiarity with modern healthcare technologies and protocols.

Location: Zen Hospital, #385, Road No. 5, Kukatpally Housing Board Colony, Hyderabad - 500085 (Near Lulu Mall).
Facility: 50-bed hospital with state-of-the-art amenities, including ICU, operation theater, and diagnostic services.
Team: Collaborative environment with experienced doctors, specialists, and support staff.
No unwanted activities permitted at hospital which would be detrimental to patient care. Staff is expected to strictly adhere to their roles.
