Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Chennai for a Staff Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The staff nurse will be responsible for providing specialized care to newborns requiring intensive medical attention. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring neonates, administering prescribed medication, assisting with medical procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the highest standard of care. The nurse will play a critical role in addressing the specific needs of neonates and their families in a demanding healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Neonatal Nursing and Neonatal Intensive Care Extensive experience in Nursing and Critical Care Nursing Solid understanding of Medicine within the context of neonatal and critical care Effective communication and teamwork skills with a compassionate approach Strong organizational abilities to handle high-pressure situations effectively Relevant nursing certifications or a Bachelor's in Nursing (or equivalent qualification) Experience in a hospital or clinical setting, particularly in neonatal care, is a significant advantage TNMC registration is Mandatory
