Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) who are premature, critically ill, or require surgical intervention
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and operate advanced medical equipment essential for neonatal care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate and support parents and families, offering guidance on newborn care and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of each patient, documenting observations, treatments, and responses
Ensure a sterile and safe environment in the NICU to prevent infections and complications
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest advancements in neonatal care
