GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.

Job Summary:
The NICU Staff Nurse is responsible for providing specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns and premature infants, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and infection control while supporting the emotional needs of families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide round-the-clock nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and ventilator settings.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and feeds as prescribed.
Assist doctors during procedures and emergency interventions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
Ensure adherence to infection control and hospital safety protocols.
Educate and counsel parents on baby care, feeding, and follow-up.
Participate in shift handovers, clinical rounds, and training programs.
Maintain equipment and report any malfunction promptly.
Collaborate effectively with doctors and fellow nurses to deliver comprehensive neonatal care.
Skills & Competencies:
Sound knowledge of neonatal nursing procedures and NICU protocols.
Proficient in handling neonatal equipment (ventilators, infusion pumps, CPAP, etc.).
Strong observation and assessment skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
