Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a Staff Nurse - NICU, you will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns and infants in our state-of-the-art facility. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and requires a Junior candidate with 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill newborns and infants in the NICU.
  • Monitor and assess the vital signs and condition of patients, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen levels.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate and support parents and family members on newborn care and development.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and their families.
