Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Providing Basic Healthcare:

Administering first aid, assessing injuries and illnesses, and providing care to students and staff.

Managing Health Records:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student health records, including immunizations and medical histories.

Administering Medications:

Dispensing medications as prescribed, ensuring proper dosage and administration procedures are followed.

Promoting Health and Safety:

Educating students and staff on healthy habits, hygiene practices, and preventative measures.

Collaborating with Stakeholders:

Working with teachers, parents, healthcare providers, and other school staff to support student health and well-being.

Ensuring Compliance:

Adhering to health regulations and guidelines, including those related to communicable diseases and emergency preparedness.

Responding to Emergencies:

Handling medical emergencies, coordinating with emergency services, and providing appropriate care.

Counseling and Support:

Providing emotional and psychological support to students, and making referrals to outside healthcare providers when necessary.
