Position Overview
The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing
high-quality nursing care
to patients
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical & Nursing Care
Provide comprehensive
pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
to patients.
Assist doctors during OPD consultations, minor procedures, and surgical interventions.
Monitor patient vitals and ensure timely documentation in patient records.
2. Operation Theatre Support
Assist in ophthalmic OT procedures
Ensure OT preparedness, instrument sterilization, and adherence to infection control protocols.
Follow hospital SOPs strictly in OT and ward areas.
3. Patient Safety & Education
Educate patients and attendants about treatment plans, medications, and post-surgical care.
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
Identify and report any adverse events or patient concerns to the concerned authority.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate nursing documentation as per NABH standards.
Follow hospital policies for medication administration, infection control, and waste management.
Support internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.
5. Coordination & Teamwork
Coordinate effectively with doctors, OT staff, front office, and support teams.
