1. Followed the instructions issued by the Clinical Leader / Nursing Staff and perform duties in accordance with established, methods and techniques, and in compliance with the recognized policies, procedures, standards and practices.
2. Prepare and maintain a record of observations and care given by the staff. Documents and information clearly and completely utilizing correct forms and in a timely manner.
3. Assist the nurse in all patient related work.
4. Maintain a safe secure and comfortable environment for every patient.
5. Support nursing staff in a calm, efficient manner during acute emergency situations.
6. To assess patient physiological and physical needs.
7. To educate patient on necessary physical exercise.
8. To monitor patients while in the process of mobilizing.
9. Taking care of daily inventory.
10. Biomedical Waste needs to be strictly followed.
11. Should be always ready for any emergency calls or for camps outside.
12. Should Follow the instructions of superior and perform the duty as per the requirements of the Hospital.
13. To keep the moral of patient high.
14. Special attention to be given to patients with catheter, drains and I.V lines.
15. Special care to be taken by the staff for infectious diseases.
16. Strictly follow the protocol of isolation for infected patients.
17. To record all necessary observation.
18. To maintain record of replacement of items used for patients.
