Job Title: Staff Nurse -

Qualification:

GNM / ANM (as applicable) Valid Nursing Registration

Experience:

2-3 years' experience in Paediatrics / Neonatal care

Job Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Assist doctors during OPD and IPD patient care. Monitor antenatal and postnatal patients. Provide counselling on breastfeeding, hygiene, and postnatal care. Assist during gynaecological procedures and deliveries. Maintain patient observation charts and vital signs.

Neonatal Care:

Provide immediate newborn care after delivery. Monitor neonatal vitals, feeding, and weight. Support mother in breastfeeding techniques. Follow infection control & safety protocols. Identify risk signs and report to doctors timely.

Clinical Skills:

Administer medications and injections as per instructions. Maintain nursing documentation and reports. Assist in emergency situations and shifting of patients. Maintain sterile environment during procedures.

Administrative / Ward Duties:

Maintain nursing records & inventory of supplies. Ensure proper patient handover during shift change. Follow hospital protocols and patient privacy standards.

Soft Skills:

Good communication and compassionate patient care. Ability to work in team and handle stressful situations.
