Job Description

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting doctors and healthcare teams, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role involves assessing patient needs, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining accurate medical records while adhering to healthcare standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients according to established protocols Assess, monitor, and record patient conditions and vital signs Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy as prescribed Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergencies Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Ensure infection control and patient safety standards are followed Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home care Respond promptly to medical emergencies Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of medical equipment Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma / BSc / GNM in Nursing from a recognized institution Valid Nursing Council registration Proven clinical experience as a Staff Nurse (preferred) Knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and patient care standards Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays Compassionate, patient-focused approach
