Key Responsibilities
Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs during labor and delivery
Assist doctors during normal and complicated deliveries
Prepare and maintain the labour room, equipment, and sterile instruments
Provide antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal nursing care
Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed
Maintain accurate nursing and patient records
Educate mothers and families on postnatal care and newborn care
Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed
Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies
Qualifications & Requirements
B.Sc. Nursing / GNM
Valid Nursing Council Registration(Kerala Prefered)
Experience in Labour Room or Maternity Ward preferred
Knowledge of fetal monitoring, CTG, and emergency obstetric care
