STAFF NURSE



Main purpose of job



To provide medical and nursing care to the students and staff in the Institution

Roles & responsibilities



1. To support students and staff with medical care

2. To ensure that all medical information is accurately recorded on college systems and that this information is maintained and reviewed on a regular basis.

3. To work with colleagues to maintain the safe well-being of students whilst in the college environment.

5. To identify any potential safeguarding issues and refers to the appropriate member of staff within the college. Give evidence based support to uphold any referrals to outer agencies.

6. To support teaching staff to identify an early deterioration in a student's physical, mental, emotional well-being with a view of sustaining a high level of attendance and a positive outcome.

7. To promote confidentiality and ensure the creation and maintenance of medical and personal information in accordance with Data Protection legislation.

8. To ensure and check on the stock of medicines.

9. To ensure that the first aid boxes are available in and around the campus.

10. Only the initial stage treatment should be done.

11. To accompany students/staff to hospitals in case of emergency.

Skills required



Registered Nurse with KMC

Minimum 3years' experience Proactive, resourceful and flexible. Caring & Compassionate nature Good communication skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
