Job Description

Direct Patient Care:

Staff Nurses are at the forefront of patient care, providing hands-on assistance and support.

Medication Administration:

They administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for side effects, and document the medication's administration.

Vital Sign Monitoring:

Staff Nurses regularly monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and document their observations.

Patient Education:

They educate patients and families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.

Record Keeping:

They maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and patient progress.

Assisting with Medical Procedures:

Staff Nurses may assist physicians with medical procedures, such as preparing equipment and obtaining samples.

Collaboration and Communication:

They work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, other nurses, and therapists, to ensure coordinated patient care.

Maintaining a Safe Environment:

Staff Nurses ensure that the patient's surroundings are clean, safe, and comfortable.
