Key Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Administering meds, monitoring vitals, wound care, pre/post-op care, managing patient comfort.Ward Management:
Overseeing admissions/discharges, cleanliness, linen, supplies, infection control.Staff Supervision:
Guiding junior nurses, fostering teamwork, ensuring efficient workflow.Collaboration:
Working with doctors, therapists, and other staff for coordinated care.Documentation:
Maintaining accurate patient records and reports.Patient/Family Education:
Informing and supporting patients and relatives.Essential Skills & Qualifications
Education:
B.Sc. Nursing or GNM.Experience:
Previous med-surg experience preferred, often 1-10 years.Clinical Skills:
Strong assessment, critical thinking, medication administration, emergency response.Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, leadership, time management, empathy, adaptability.Job Type: Full-time
