KIDS Hospital is a leading multi-specialty hospital in Bhubaneswar, focused on providing compassionate and quality care, especially in diabetes and related complications. We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated ICU Nurses to join our growing healthcare team.

Job Title: ICU & Ward Nurse (GNM/B.Sc Nursing) - (5 No.s)
Job Type: Full-Time

Experience Required:

GNM with minimum 4-5 years of ICU / Ward experience, OR

B.Sc Nursing - 1+ year of ICU / Ward experience

Job Responsibility:

Supervises and monitors all nursing activities in the ICU during the assigned shift.

Ensures that critically ill patients receive safe and timely nursing care as per hospital and ICU protocols.

Prepares and manages duty rosters, ensuring adequate nurse-patient ratios as per NABH/Critical Care standards.

Conducts regular ICU rounds to monitor patient care, equipment functioning, and infection control compliance.

Ensures strict adherence to hand hygiene, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols.

Oversees administration of high-alert medications, IV infusions, and life-supporting drugs as per physician's orders.

Coordinates with intensivists, physicians, and allied departments (lab, radiology, pharmacy) for patient care.

Ensures proper maintenance and availability of ICU equipment (ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, monitors).

Handles and escalates any equipment malfunction immediately with biomedical / service engineers.

Ensures accurate and timely documentation of ICU charts, nursing notes, consent forms, and registers.

Monitors and verifies the use of central lines, catheters, ventilators, and other invasive devices.

Handles emergency situations (Code Blue, Code Red, Code Orange) and provides leadership during resuscitation.

Supervises biomedical waste disposal, linen management, and infection control practices.

Ensures patient relatives are informed of ICU rules, visiting protocols, and counselling sessions as per policy.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
