Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse in the ICU provides round-the-clock care to critically ill patients, ensuring proper monitoring, timely interventions, and adherence to clinical protocols. The role demands strong clinical judgment, quick responsiveness, and compassionate patient handling.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Monitor vitals, maintain patient records, and promptly report abnormalities to physicians. Administer medications, IV infusions, oxygen therapy, and life-support equipment as per guidelines. Assist during emergency procedures, intubations, and code blue situations. Maintain infection-control practices and ensure proper handling of medical equipment. Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other nursing staff for smooth patient care. Educate patient families on condition updates, precautions, and care plans. Ensure accurate documentation, shift handovers, and patient safety at all times.

Qualifications:

GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing Valid nursing registration (State Nursing Council) ICU experience preferred but freshers with strong clinical knowledge may also be considered.

Skills Required:
