Patient assessment and monitoring:

Assess patients' health, monitor vital signs, and record medical histories and developments.

Treatment administration:

Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.

Care plan management:

Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories and changes in condition.

Patient and family education:

Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and managing their condition.

Emergency response:

Provide immediate and advanced care during medical emergencies.

Coordination and communication:

Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team, and assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Supervision and support:

Supervise junior nursing staff, nursing assistants, and students.
