Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well-being. The role involves assisting doctors, administering medication, monitoring patient conditions, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer medications, injections, and intravenous infusions as prescribed. Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress; promptly report any changes to the physician. Assist in diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments. Educate patients and families on health care, recovery, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and reports. Ensure infection control, hygiene, and safety standards are followed at all times. Support doctors during rounds, surgeries, and emergency situations. Handle medical equipment safely and effectively. Provide emotional support and care to patients and their families.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing (ANM/GNM/B.Sc Nursing). Registered Nurse with State Nursing Council. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care, and hospital procedures. Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in rotational shifts including nights and weekends.

Working Conditions:

Hospital/Clinical environment. Shift duties including weekends and holidays. May require long hours and emergency response.

Salary:

Based on experience and hospital norms.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
