Job Description

Assist with patient care, including taking vital signs, administering basic treatments, and preparing patients for procedures Perform technical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care under supervision Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to support emergency interventions Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and ensure a clean treatment environment Document patient information and procedures accurately in electronic health records Transport patients within the emergency department or to other hospital units Stay updated on emergency protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices Align tasks with patient care priorities and departmental goals Communicate patient status and procedural updates to medical staff
