Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) clinic. The nurse will play a vital role in assisting ENT specialists, providing patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist ENT specialists during patient consultations, examinations, and minor procedures. Prepare examination rooms and ensure required instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready. Perform basic clinical assessments such as recording patient history, vitals, and symptoms. Provide patient education on post-procedure care, medication usage, and follow-up instructions. Assist in ear cleaning, dressing changes, nasal packing, and other minor ENT-related interventions. Administer prescribed medications and injections under physician guidance. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality. Manage inventory of medical supplies and request replenishments when required. Ensure compliance with clinic hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols. Offer empathetic communication and support to patients of all age groups.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma/GNM/B.Sc. in Nursing with a valid nursing license/registration. Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting (ENT experience preferred). Basic knowledge of ENT procedures and equipment. Strong patient care and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Work Environment

Outpatient ENT clinic setting. Direct interaction with patients, doctors, and other medical staff. May involve working with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
