As a staff nurse, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients within a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Assessing patients' health status and needs.
Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on assessment findings.
Clinical Procedures:
Performing various clinical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheterization.
Operating medical equipment and monitoring patient responses during procedures.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
Documenting medication administration and treatment outcomes.
Patient Advocacy:
Advocating for patients' rights and preferences in the healthcare decision-making process.
Addressing patient concerns and ensuring their voices are heard in their care plans.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive comprehensive care that aligns with their needs and values.
Qualifications:
GNM/Bsc
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state.
CPR certification and additional certifications may be required based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
