Provide direct nursing care to elderly residents in accordance with care plans and medical instructions.
Monitor residents' vital signs, health conditions, and report any changes promptly.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as required.
Provide wound care, catheter care, injections, and other nursing procedures as prescribed.
Ensure comfort, dignity, and safety of residents at all times.
Medication Management
Administer medications accurately as per doctor's orders.
Maintain proper medication records and ensure safe storage of medicines.
Monitor residents for medication side effects or adverse reactions.
Emergency & Clinical Support
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or nursing intervention.
Coordinate with doctors, hospitals, and ambulance services when required.
Accompany residents to hospitals if needed.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate nursing notes, medical records, and incident reports.
Update care plans and shift handover notes.
Ensure compliance with statutory and internal documentation requirements.
Coordination & Communication
Communicate effectively with residents, families, doctors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Guide and supervise caregivers and nursing assistants.
Participate in care meetings and health reviews.
Infection Control & Safety
Follow infection control protocols and hygiene standards.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe disposal of biomedical waste.
Adhere to safety policies and regulatory standards.
Resident Well-being & Support
Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents.
Promote healthy ageing, mobility, nutrition, and hydration.
Respect residents' privacy, rights, and cultural values.
