Our memory development group comprises some of the industry’s leading experts in deep submicron circuit design. This position is a rare opportunity for you as a memory circuit professional to work with our successful circuit and layout team. You will discover a wide variety of groundbreaking foundries while collaborating with our team on many different types of memories and broad portfolio of products.

WhatwillIbeaccountablefor?

In this role you will be working on the following areas:

• Contribute in all parts of our advanced product memory development flow, starting at design spec!
• Understand memory architectures and memory compiler development flows
• Be involved in transistor level full-custom design in collaboration with the physical design team for layout realization
• Develop new features, improvements, and optimizations in order to meet Performance, Power and Area targets!
• Run memory margining and characterization and analyze results
• Become comfortable with basic programming tasks (scripts, memory compiler tiling code)
• Ensure high quality and high-performance memory designs with the lowest possible power as needed for Arm CPUs, GPUs, and SOCs.
• Lead small teams of designers throughout the entire memory development process
• Provide mentoring and leadership to other designers on the team
• Define and drive improvements in the memory development, infrastructure and flows
• Work with project management to define schedules and highlight risks and issues
• Interact with customers as needed throughout the course of the project

Whatskills,experience,andqualificationsdoIneed?

• Have relevant memory circuit design and leadership experience
• Have design experience on silicon technologies equal or smaller than 28nm
• Experience leading small teams in development projects
• Experience in mentoring others

EssentialAttributes

• Basic memory principles, especially for SRAM.
• Good understanding of technology and design trade-offs in advanced technology nodes
• Familiar with Cadence Virtuoso and with Spice, FastSpice simulators
• You love working in a collaborative environment
• You are keen to improve quality, methodology and efficiency

• Statistical simulations (e.g. Monte-Carlo)
• Pearl, .tcl, java
• EDA tools
