The Global Stores and Supply Chain Solution Delivery organization is responsible for delivering technology solutions to drive growth, enable efficiency, and improve customer experience at the front-line in our stores and managing various supply chain related solutions within TJX IT.

The Data & Analytics function thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and working diligently to address their needs, which support TJX growth and operational stability. On this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team, you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think creatively.


As we expand our capabilities, we are growing our presence in India to include a new focus on Data Analytics. Associates in India will work closely with global teams to mature and scale our services.

What you'll do

We seek a motivated, talented Staff Engineer with good understanding of cloud architecture, data warehousing, data modeling concepts to help design enterprise data engineering and reporting solutions across global stores organization.


You will be working with product teams, architecture and business partners to strategically plan and deliver the product features by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will need to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development while keeping product quality and security as the priority. You will be responsible for most architecture, design and technical decisions within assigned scope.

Key Responsibilities:

Act in Lead Engineer capacity for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance and resolving issues Develop new features and services that are medium-high level of complexity working with the product/platform/infrastructure/security team Design, code, test, deploy & support working software /technology component, working collaboratively with architects and other engineers. Fully Owns Epics with decreasing guidance. Takes initiative through identifying gaps and opportunities. Responsible for delivering clean, secure, performant code /technology component that meets all the non-functional requirements. Create test automation scripts Lead discussions on design approaches to solving visible, strategic and complex business problems Lead & participate in Development process definitions, best practices and standards Identify emerging technologies for consideration for new technology direction and implement proof of concepts to prove the new technology Mentor other engineers on the team Provide technical subject matter expertise and insight related to the business applications in stores

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain 8+ years of strong development experience with medium to large bespoke developed analytics and data warehouse solutions while working in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) environment Strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, and API integrations Hands-on experience in coding/configuring medium to large scale data integrations end to end whilst maintaining good understanding of Coding standards, Performance tuning and database concepts. Demonstrated leadership in the fields of data warehousing, database, or data science. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices across security, compliance, DevSecOps, and application architecture Strong communication and influence skills. Solid team leadership with mentorship skills Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals. Shows a positive, open-minded, and can-do attitude.

or similar version control systems for collaborative development, code reviews, and CI/CD integration. Proficient in

for automating data workflows and managing system tasks, especially in

Linux/RHEL

environments. Familiarity with

scheduling tools

(e.g., Control-M, Autosys, Azure Scheduler, or equivalent) for managing batch jobs and workflow automation.

Nice To Have

Programing languages like C#, .Net, Spark, Python, PySpark. Experience with tools such as JIRA, Service NOW. Knowledge of IT Security & Compliance ADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage)
