Roles & Responsibilities:

• Improve reliability, quality, and delivery of our suite of software solutions.
• Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures. Interface with business teams.
• Responsible for software development, pipeline development for GSD Datalake team.
• Responsible to keep development pipeline operational and traceable following security best practices and adopting to corporate security guidelines
• Create sustainable systems and services through automation.
• Responsible for creating products in AWS services and Python for Life Sciences Group software products.

Candidate Requirement:

Bachelor\'s in engineering/Computer Science or master\'s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of Experience.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Design and lead the build effort for cloud data pipelines.
• Strong expertise in Python programming language.
• Deep expertise in Modern Data Management(Enterprise Information Management, Data warehousing, Data Lakes, Cloud Data Platform, Data Modelling, ETL Design, Database etc.) space.
• Prior experience in Amazon cloud environment with AWS service stack(S3, LakeFormation Glue Catalog, RDS, DynamoDB, Opensearch, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFormation, Athena, APIGateway, Batch, CloudFront, StepFunction, SNS, SQS) is a must.
• Design and develop ETL workflows and datasets in any ETL tool to be used by the BI reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Install and configure information system to ensure functionality.
• Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications.
• Migrate data from legacy to new solution.
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements.
• Define security and backup procedures.
• Should be able to perform data blending, joining and parsing the data, data lineage.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience in working with AWS Management console and understanding of basic services like storage and compute.
• Experience rolling out application to Apple ecosystem.
