Provide expert pre-sales and post-sales technical support for products involving power electronics and microcontrollers. Technical Customer Support: Provide expert pre-sales and post-sales technical support for products involving power electronics and microcontrollers. This includes troubleshooting hardware, firmware, and system-level issues on-site at customer locations Design-In & Integration: Drive "design-in" activities by assisting customer R&D teams with schematic reviews, PCB layout recommendations, and system integration of products like motor drives, AC/DC,DC/DC, and resonant converters. Firmware and Algorithm Development: Assist customers in developing, debugging, and optimizing real-time control algorithms (e.g., Field Oriented Control (FOC),PID tuning) for motor control applications or digital power conversion using embedded C/C++ programming. Product Promotion & Training: Conduct technical seminars, workshops, and hands-on training for customers and internal teams on the features and benefits of power management solutions and associated software development tools (IDE, compilers, debuggers). Collaboration and Feedback: Act as the technical liaison between the customer, sales, marketing, and R&D teams, providing valuable field insights for future product development and improvements. Bench Testing & Analysis: Perform bench testing, analyze competitor products, develop demonstration boards, and create technical documentation, application notes, and engineering reports. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Embedded Systems is essential. Relevant work experience (typically 3-5 years) in a technical customer support, application engineering, or design role within the power electronics or semiconductor industry. Deep understanding of power converter topologies(Buck/Boost, Fly-back, PFC, Resonant). Component Knowledge: Familiarity with power semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, LDOs, switching regulators) and their characteristics. Knowledge of PCB design for minimizing EMI, ensuring proper thermal management, and robust circuit design. Lab Skills: Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, and spectrum analyzers. Microcontrollers: Experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit MCU architectures and their peripherals (ADC, PWM, DAC, communication interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART,CAN). Programming: Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS) is required. Development Tools: Hands-on experience with industry-standard development environments and simulation tools (e.g., MPLAB X IDE, SPICE,MATLAB). Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and manage multiple projects concurrently. Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites We are on a journey to create the best Infineon for everyone. This means we embrace diversity and inclusion and welcome everyone for who they are. At Infineon, we offer a working environment characterized by trust, openness, respect and tolerance and are committed to give all applicants and employees equal opportunities.
