The Staff Engineer - Systems for Radiometer is responsible for defining, development of architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of Immunoassay systems. This position is part of the Immunoassay R&D located in Bangalore, India and will be working in hybrid model. You will be a part of the Systems Engineering team and report to the Systems Engineering Manager responsible for Design and development of Immunoassay systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead the design and development of Immunoassay systems, collaborating with cross functional teams including R&D Define system architecture including hardware and software, to ensure the seamless integration of various sub-systems and overall system functionality Create system models and diagrams to illustrate the architecture, sub system interactions, and data flow, enabling effective communication and decision-making Conduct in-depth analysis of system requirements, considering factors such as performance, safety, reliability, usability, and regulatory compliance Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering team, mentoring junior members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders like R&D, and Marketing, clinical, PMO, management and regulatory to ensure alignment and smooth execution of projects The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Engineering Proven experience of 9+ years working as a Systems Architect, preferably in medical industry or related field In-depth knowledge of systems architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices, demonstrating progressive positions with increasing complexity and scale of projects. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose feasible solutions. The ability to think critically, troubleshoot problems, and make sound decisions is essential. Proficiency in system modeling tools and methodologies, such as UML, SysML, or other relevant frameworks Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Knowledge of medical device development processes and QMS requirements Systems Engineering certifications from INCOSE At Radiometer we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
