The Senior Architect - BI & Reporting will serve as a strategic technical leader responsible for designing and architecting enterprise-wide analytics and reporting ecosystems. This role goes beyond solution delivery--focusing on defining data architecture, establishing BI standards, creating scalable frameworks, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities across the organization.



The architect will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of BI solutions, from data ingestion and modeling to visualization and automation, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business strategy. This role will also spearhead innovation by integrating modern technologies such as machine learning, predictive analytics, generative AI, and self-service BI frameworks to transform data into actionable intelligence.



As a senior technical authority, the Architect will partner closely with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and engineering counterparts to define analytics roadmaps, streamline data processes, and guide the BI & Reporting CoE toward future-ready data solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end BI and analytics ecosystems

, including data acquisition, transformation, semantic modeling, and visualization layers across enterprise-scale data platforms.

Define and enforce BI architecture standards

, data modeling frameworks, governance practices, and reusable design patterns for reporting and analytics delivery.

Lead the design of scalable semantic models

and analytical data products for Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse environments aligned with business needs and performance requirements.

Oversee the development of advanced data pipelines

, ensuring performance optimization, security, and reliability using SQL, Spark, Databricks, and modern data engineering tools.

Drive the strategy for enterprise dashboards and analytical solutions

using Power BI (and Tableau where applicable), enabling self-service analytics across business functions.

Ensure enterprise-wide data quality, lineage, and consistency

, establishing monitoring frameworks, data validation rules, and best practices across the BI lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

, business leaders, and product teams to align data architecture with strategic goals and integrate cross-platform solutions.

Perform architectural reviews, technical assessments, and solution evaluations

, ensuring adherence to design principles and long-term scalability.

Mentor and guide analysts and engineers

, fostering technical excellence, solution thinking, and data literacy across teams.

Document architectural blueprints

Desired Characteristics & Technical Expertise

10+ years of experience

in BI architecture, data platforms, analytics engineering, and large-scale reporting ecosystems. Demonstrated expertise in

architecting scalable data platforms

, OLAP structures, data marts, and enterprise semantic models. Strong domain understanding of

Commercial, Sales, Renewals, Services, and GTM analytics

, enabling the design of business-aligned analytical solutions. Hands-on experience with

Salesforce (SFDC), Fusion, SAP, Oracle P6

, and other enterprise systems feeding analytics platforms. Deep proficiency in

SQL, Spark, Databricks, and distributed data processing frameworks

, with the ability to optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability. Advanced skills in

Power BI (preferred)

, dashboard UX frameworks, and designing high-impact executive-level analytics. Strong grounding in

data governance, lineage, metadata management, security, and access architectures

. Experience with

data integration platforms

, ETL/ELT patterns, API-based ingestion, and real-time streaming frameworks. Proven ability to
