Responsibilities

Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Conduct cash flow analysis to ensure the financial health of the organization. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. Assist in tax preparation and compliance activities. Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on best practices. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and budgeting processes. Utilize QuickBooks for efficient accounting operations and reporting.

Experience

Proven experience in general ledger accounting with a strong understanding of debits and credits. Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations is a plus. Proficient in cash flow analysis and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations. Excellent mentoring skills to support the development of junior team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
