Key Responsibilities





1. Group Banking Operations


Manage day-to-day banking activities across group entities, recording fund transfers, bank reconciliations

Liaise with banking partners to ensure smooth operations and resolve any banking-related issues.

Proficient in handling financial processes in a multi-currency environment, with experience in foreign exchange transactions, currency revaluations, and compliance with international accounting standards.


2. Cross-Functional Coordination


Collaborate with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, and Treasury teams to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.

Support intercompany fund movements and ensure proper documentation and compliance.


3. Month-End Close Support


Assist in month-end closing activities including bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and variance analysis .

Ensure timely and accurate recording of banking transactions in financial systems.

Support accruals and adjustments related to banking and treasury operations.


4. Audit and Compliance


Prepare and provide banking-related documentation and reconciliations for internal and external audits.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Assist in implementing and maintaining robust controls over banking and treasury processes.

Ensure compliance with IFRS and USGAAP and statutory reporting norms.




5. Reporting and Analysis


Analyse banking charges and recommend cost optimization strategies.

Monitor and report on key banking metrics and trends.


6. Process Improvement


Identify opportunities to streamline banking and financial coordination processes.

Support automation initiatives and system enhancements related to banking and finance operations.

Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting banking and treasury functions.


7. Fixed Assets accounting


Accurately maintain the fixed asset register by recording acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and adjustments related to Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE). Ensure timely updates to reflect the status of all assets.

Assist in the capitalization of assets by verifying eligibility and supporting documentation. Record depreciation in accordance with applicable accounting standards and reconcile fixed asset accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness

Ensure all PPE-related transactions comply with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and internal company policies. Maintain proper documentation and support audit requirements through accurate and transparent reporting.

Qualifications




Education:




Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Inter with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, or treasury operations.


Skills:


Strong understanding of banking operations and financial processes.

Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle NetSuite preferred).

Sound knowledge about IFRS standards.

Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders' High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
