We are seeking a skilled and experienced SQL Server BI Platform Administrator to manage and maintain our Microsoft SQL Server environment including SSIS Integration Services SSAS Analysis Services and MDX cube development and administration The ideal candidate will ensure high availability performance and security of databases and BI solutions while supporting data integration and analytical reporting needs across the organization Key Responsibilities SQL Server Administration Install configure and maintain SQL Server instances 2016 and above Monitor database performance implement tuning and optimization strategies Manage backups restores disaster recovery and high availability AlwaysOn clustering replication Implement and maintain security best practices roles permissions encryption Perform regular health checks and capacity planning SSIS Administration Develop deploy and manage SSIS packages for ETL processes Monitor and troubleshoot SSIS jobs and data pipelines Optimize data flows and ensure data quality and consistency Schedule and automate data integration tasks using SQL Server Agent or other tools SSAS MDX Cubes Administration Design deploy and maintain SSAS OLAP and Tabular models Write and optimize MDX queries for reporting and analysis Manage cube processing partitioning and performance tuning Collaborate with BI developers and analysts to support reporting tools e g Power BI Excel Required Skills Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 2019 2022 Hands on expertise in SSIS and SSAS Multidimensional and Tabular Proficiency in MDX and DAX query languages Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques Familiarity with Power BI Azure Data Services or other cloud platforms is a plus Excellent problem solving communication and documentation skills Preferred Skills Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate MCSA SQL Server or equivalent legacy
