Senior Social Media Manager

to join our growing family. We are looking for a passionate, results-driven Senior Social Media Manager to join our team and help us grow our brand presence organically and through paid strategies across various social media platforms.

Job Summary:

The Senior Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing both organic and paid social media strategies, managing content creation, and leading a team to achieve brand awareness, engagement, and user acquisition goals. This role requires a creative, strategic thinker who can lead our social media presence across various platforms, manage content creation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve our brand objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in social media management, a strong understanding of analytics, and a knack for storytelling.

The ideal candidate should be self-sufficient, able to manage both organic and paid campaigns effectively, and work collaboratively with other departments such as marketing, design, and development.

Key Responsibilities:



Strategy Development:

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and user acquisition across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn and emerging channels like TikTok and YouTube.

Content Creation and Management:

Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of engaging content, including graphics, videos, articles, and infographics. Coordinate with internal teams of designers, copywriters, and freelancers, etc., to ensure content is high-quality and aligned with brand voice, brand values and objectives.

Campaign Management:

Oversee the development, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns, ensuring they meet performance objectives and are within budget. Monitor and adjust strategies based on real-time analytics and A/B testing. Manage both organic and paid social media campaigns, ensuring a balanced approach to drive growth and reach specific audience targets in West Bengal and PAN India. Community Engagement: Foster a strong community around the brand by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and managing any crises or negative feedback with professionalism and tact. Utilize analytics tools to monitor and report on social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Lead a team of social media specialists and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment. Good Knowledge in AI tools and new technology. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative in its approach. SEO and Discoverability: Optimize content and campaigns for SEO and discoverability, ensuring maximum reach and impact. Create and manage a social media content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms. Handle crisis management and engage with the community to foster a positive brand reputation. Develop strategies to increase organic traffic while also managing paid advertising budgets effectively.

Skills and Expertise:



Proven experience (5-10 years) in managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) for both organic and paid growth. Strong proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and SEMrush). Knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to implement them in social media content. Expertise in using analytics and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz. Strong understanding of Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager for paid campaigns. Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for storytelling and engaging audiences. Ability to work independently and lead a team, bridging the gap between management and development teams effectively. Compassionate, dedicated, and capable of working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Educational Qualifications:



A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant experience in social media management is highly valued.

Experience Level:



A minimum of 5-9 years of experience in social media management, with experience in both organic and paid strategies. Experience in a startup environment is a plus but not required.

Salary Range and Compensation:



The proposed salary for this position is competitive and aligned with the market standards in West Bengal, India. Based on the candidate's experience and skills, the monthly salary range will be between INR 40,000 to INR 65,000. The annual CTC (Cost to Company) will range from INR 5,50,000 to INR 8,50,000, inclusive of performance bonuses and benefits.

Performance Metrics:



Success in this role will be measured by key social media metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, lead generation, and overall brand growth. Performance reviews will be conducted regularly to assess impact and areas for improvement.
