Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students. Serve as the primary contact for student inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
Support Services:
Assist students in navigating academic programs, policies, and procedures. Offer guidance on academic and personal issues, referring them to appropriate resources when necessary.
Communication:
Communicate regularly with students through various channels (email, phone, in-person meetings) to ensure they are informed about important updates, deadlines, and opportunities.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve student complaints and issues efficiently. Escalate complex issues to higher authorities when necessary.
Orientation and Onboarding:
Facilitate student orientation and onboarding processes. Help new students acclimate to the institution and its culture.
Feedback Collection:
Gather and analyze student feedback to identify areas for improvement in services and programs. Work with other departments to implement changes based on feedback.
Retention Strategies:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance student retention and success. Monitor student progress and proactively reach out to those at risk of falling behind.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and activities. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with academic advisors, faculty, and other departments to support student needs and enhance their overall experience.
