Job Purpose

Responsible for managing physical security of site ,local security guards and overall security infrastructure

Role Description

• Responsible for managing overall physical security of data Center building
• Oversee all security establishment e.g boom barrier , bollards , physical fencing , baggage scanner , access control and CCTV camera are working and they are manned 24x7 basis
• Conducts regular security and fire drills as per laid norms and procedures
• Create and implement physical security policies in compliance with various standards e.g PCI-DSS , ISO 27001 , ISO 27701 , ISO 14000 and ISO 45000 etc .
• Conducts regular security inspection , identifies , investigates threats and breaches .
• Acts immediately to mitigate emergency situation or incidents
• Regular patrolling of building premise , perimeter and data Center floors
• Manage outsource security agency for 24x7 operation and their regular performance evaluation
• Act as SPOC for all physical security management of the site
• Provides security overview during any client visit
• Monitor and address all physical security incidents not limiting to physical intrusion , forced entries , tailgating , unauthored entries & physical theft etc
• Hires security guards through outsource agency
• Train the security team for site security norms and policies
• Liaisons with local law enforcement
• Presents security improvement plans and technologies to the executives

• 5 -7 years of relevant experience in managing large datacenter /IT/Technical building security infrastructure
• Experience handling large team size of security guards & shift operation
• Must have knowledge and experience on managing security establishment and devices e.g boom barrier , bollards , access controls , turnstile , road blocker , UVSS , access controls , CCTV and fire fighting system etc
• Has good understanding of legal parameters of security work
• Understands basic compliance requirement for EHS , security & ISO standards.
• Excellent physical fitness
• Excellent communication skill in English and local language
