Job Purpose Responsible for local Datacenter operations including electrical , mechanical , ELV network and other supporting infrastructure and to maintain 100 % service uptime Role Description

• Running 24x7X365 Data center Operations, managing DC & IT Critical infrastructure, ELV networks, security to deliver uptime 99.999%.
• Critical incident management, root cause analysis and running the crisis calls during critical outages
• Implement operational standards, infrastructure components, support and compliance to Information Security policy and safety procedures.
• Adhere to all safety and EHS rules and compliance to local standards and procedures
• Liaising with DC center team , vendors and end customers etc during all maintenance activities
• Carry out periodic maintenance for critical systems e.g UPS , DG , Transformer , BMS and other supporting infrastructure to ensure 100 % system uptime.
• Proactive monitoring and restoring power outages during mains and supply failures .
• Track and monitor energy usage and report on monthly basis
• Track and manage all capacity items and facility assets
• Monitor and track outsourced vendor’s performance on daily basis
• Promote energy efficiency and other sustainability issues by innovative energy optimization solution and techniques
• Ensure teams are adhering to a Health & Safety standards
• Creating and generating inputs for dashboards for critical KPIs, SLAs, etc.
• Develop and prepare & implement SOPs , EOPS and MOP in coordination with OEM and vendors
• Track and manage all capacity items and facility assets
• Monitor and track outsourced vendor’s performance on daily basis
• Daily/weekly/monthly MIS tracking and reporting for all facility items
• Any other responsibility that would be assigned by the management

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• 4-8 Years of relevant hands-on experience in managing datacenter and critical IT facilities e.g. DG , Transformers , UPS , batteries , ATS , SMPS , RMU , HT/LT panels etc
• Exposure and working experience on datacenter ELV system e.g. BMS , fire & alarms , fire suppression gas , Access control and CCTV
  • Must have worked in 24x7 mission critical operations like datacenter delivering 100 % uptime
• Understands well on service KPIs and tracking mechanism e.g. humidity , temperature , uptime and other parameters associated to end customer’s SLA
• Must have managed vendors and OEM in previous assignment
• Excellent incident management skills and customer communication, root cause analysis and problem management skills.
• Proficiency in MS office and related applications
• Competent
