About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Senior HubSpot CMS Developer

to design, develop, and optimize modern digital experiences on the HubSpot CMS platform. This is a

high-visibility role

contributing directly to a large-scale web modernization initiative for an enterprise client.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in

HubL, custom module and theme development, GitHub-driven workflows

, and a strong emphasis on

security, performance, and scalability

. You will collaborate closely with marketing, design, and technology stakeholders across Prodigy and client teams.

Must-Have Skills

8+ years of professional web development experience, with

5+ years specializing in HubSpot CMS

Advanced proficiency in: HubL (HubSpot Markup Language) HubSpot Design Tools Custom module and theme development Strong hands-on experience with: HubSpot CLI Git and GitHub GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automated deployments Solid understanding of frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON Proven experience implementing

secure web development practices

aligned with

OWASP guidelines

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills

Experience with

HubSpot APIs, REST integrations, and Serverless Functions

Exposure to JavaScript frameworks such as

React, Vue.js, or Alpine.js

Knowledge of: SEO best practices Google Lighthouse performance standards Core Web Vitals optimization Prior experience working with

Fortune 500 / enterprise-level clients

Working knowledge of

WordPress

Roles & Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain custom HubSpot themes, modules, and templates using HubL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Lead the setup and management of local HubSpot development environments using HubSpot CLI, Git, and GitHub Actions Implement and advocate

security-first development practices

, including access control, data sanitization, and vulnerability mitigation Optimize websites for performance, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and

WCAG-compliant accessibility

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, SEO specialists, and backend teams to deliver user-centric, conversion-optimized web experiences Conduct code reviews, enforce version control standards, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines Stay current with evolving HubSpot CMS features, HubL updates, and web development best practices Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with HubSpot upgrades and migrations
