We have an immediate opportunity for a Design Engineer to join us at our diverse team. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. . Will be involved from the time of enquiry received from sales / customer till the order finalization. . Will make first time right technical offer with costing and send it to sales for customer offer submission. . Should co-ordinate between sales, engineering, procurement and customer for winning the order. . Will be interacting with sales and customer after receipt of enquiry for technical offer / discussion / meeting for winning the order. . Will support sales . Will be responsible for maintaining all documents (enquiry, technical offer, detailed costing, handover of won order project , all documents related to that project ) . Understanding the requirements from customer specs, technical data sheet and co-ordinate with design team for electrical & mechanical design schematics for optimized costing. . Should be aware about IEC and other related standards for electrical design. . Support the team for electrical circuits and mechanical (GA IGA) drawings. . Discussion with customer for technical clarification and visit to customer place for technical reviews & order finalization along with sales. . To prepare technical offer based on customer specs like load list and tender specs, etc. switchgear and panel costing for third party items. . Hand over pre sales documents to team once PO is received. . Work with a multi-disciplinary engineering development team that includes application engineering, controls engineering, mechanical design, control hardware design, and test / validation Background & Skills The ideal candidate possesses these skills. . Diploma / BE (EEE/ECE/ Electrical / Electronics) Minimum requirements to working experience . 5-7 years\' experience in electrical engineering design . Must have good experience in pre-sales engineering. . Should have good & sound experience in VFD schematics, PLC schematics, MCC & PCC feeders design, IEC Standards. . Should be able to size the switch gears and drives as per the customer requirement. . Must have good skill at Drives Automation & Electrical Panel Design . Experience in Variable speed drives (VFD, AC Drive) with Panel engineering . Should understand and interpret the IEC-IEEE or EN standards in design work. . Effective technical documentation skills . Demonstrated ability to meet goals and objectives. Essential personal characteristics . Take ownership and work towards customer centric and deliverables. .
