About the team As part of the larger Banking Solutions IT Platform Application Support, our team is at the forefront of supporting FIS\xe2\x80\x99 Banking & Payment Applications. • Help to implement SRE Principles & Practices and Application Support with Engineering mindset in Application Production Support team
• Going to work on breadth of technologies, should be ready to learn / exhibit breadth of technologies to understand the systems and implement SRE practices
• Understand complete echo system andMandatory participation in Triages/Root cause analysis of issues and plan for fixing them
• Work as per SLI, SLO and Error Budgets. Identification and reduction of TOIL,SRE Tools, Automation and AI/ML
• Cover application stability, uptime and performance with Monitoring and Observability.Chaos Engineering
• Participate in Technical discussions with Architects / Dev / DBA / SysAdmin etc teams to ensure adoption of SRE Principles in building Secure and Reliable systems

What you bring:

• 7-11 years experience in Application Support and SRE - UNIX, SQL, Scripting skills (Shell Script / PowerShell / Python), Dynatrace, Mainframe
• SRE Certification
• Distributed Systems - Load Balancers, Data Replication, Middleware
• App issue analysis \xe2\x80\x93 JVMs, Thread dump, Heap dump, Garbage Collector etc., Dynatrace tool
• Performance engineering Basics, Tools & Technologies
• Proficient analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve problems creatively.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Change and Release Management principles, procedures and techniques (SDLC, ITIL, Agile SCRUM, CI/CD, DevOps, etc) and Knowledge in supporting Windows, Unix and Mainframe based applications
