Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in GitHub to GitLab migration, strong hands-on skills in Python programming, AWS, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing our CI/CD pipelines, improving cloud infrastructure, and ensuring high system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute migration from GitHub to GitLab, including CI/CD pipeline setup, repository restructuring, and integrations. Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure. Develop automation tools and scripts using Python to streamline deployment and operational tasks. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines ensuring high-quality software delivery. Apply SRE principles (monitoring, observability, incident response, performance tuning, SLAs/SLOs) to improve system reliability. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases and high availability of services. Ensure best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and security compliance.
Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in DevOps / SRE roles. Proven track record of GitHub to GitLab migration projects. Strong programming/scripting skills in Python. Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, etc.). Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Deep understanding of SRE concepts, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch), and incident management. Experience with IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible). Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Good to Have

Certifications in AWS, GitLab, or Kubernetes. Exposure to multi-cloud environments. Experience with security and compliance in DevOps.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹170,000.00 per month
