:

Working in Application Support / SRE means you'll use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the firm. You'll work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects based on your primary area of focus: design or programming. While learning to fix application and data issues as they arise, you'll also gain exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement, in addition to production lifecycle methodologies and risk guidelines. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to develop professionally -and to grow your career in any direction you choose.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Day to day support activities for a suite of applications
• Perform Prod/UAT Releases
• Investigate and resolve end user queries/tickets
• Run incidents
• Reduce/Eliminate TOIL towards SRE maturity
• Perform small bug fixes and enhancements
• Perform root cause analysis
• Partnership with end users.
• Partnership with AD teams.
• Ready to work in shifts and weekend on calls

Must have Skills:

• Proven experience working in an application support environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Motivated self-starter
• Very good SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
• Good Scripting skills in UNIX Shell/Python
• Incident management skills
• Flexible to learn new tools and Technologies.
• Basic Java, Cloud knowledge
• Working knowledge on Apache, Tomcats, TomEE

Good to have Skills:

• Working knowledge on Hadoop.
• Working knowledge on Cloud.
• Experience in Banking Domain
• Programming knowledge on Java.
• Knowledge using monitoring tools - Geneos, AppDynamics, Apica, Splunk
• Knowledge using Automated release tools.
