Duties And Responsibility

Developing and designing products and systems based on customer requirements and industry standards
Conducting research and testing to check the feasibility and viability of the design ideas
Collaborating with other areas of the organisation, such as manufacturing and quality control
Reviewing and providing feedback on the designs of other engineers
Maintaining specifications, drawings and technical manuals
Troubleshooting design-related issues and making necessary changes
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies and implementing new designs
Collaborating with other departments to discuss the financial viability of designs, risk assessments and ensure designs that are economically viable.
Qualification

Male or Female Candidates Preffered
Technical understanding: Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and mechanics
Innovation: The ability to be innovative and come up with new ideas
Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate and convey technical concepts to cross-functional teams
Project Management: Design engineers must manage projects, deadlines and budgets effectively
CAD Software: Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor, is necessary
