Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Concept Development

Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for commercial spaces. Prepare space planning layouts, mood boards, material palettes, and conceptual sketches. Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and client guidelines.

2. Project Management

Lead end-to-end interior design projects, from client brief to final execution. Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and MEP teams. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design quality.

3. Technical Documentation

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, interior working drawings, joinery details, and BOQs. Review and approve construction drawings and shop drawings. Ensure all technical documents meet accuracy, quality, and compliance requirements.

4. Client Liaison

Engage with clients to understand requirements and present design solutions. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and design workshops. Provide design guidance and resolve project-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in

commercial interior design

and architectural detailing. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office

, and other relevant design tools. Strong understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, and ergonomic standards. Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture / Interior Architecture. 6-10 yrs of exp Proven track record of handling medium to large-scale corporate/commercial interior projects. Experience in design-build environments (optional but preferred).
