Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Warehouse Manager based in Coimbatore . The Warehouse Manager will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient stock control, inventory management, and smooth coordination of goods receipt and dispatch. Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining compliance with safety standards, managing physical inventory, and optimizing warehouse workflows. This role will play a critical part in maintaining Yara Electronics' product distribution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise day-to-day
warehouse operations
including receipt, storage, and dispatch of
electronic components and finished products.
Ensure
proper handling of sensitive and high-value electronic items
with anti-static, ESD, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with the
production, procurement, and logistics
teams to ensure timely availability and movement of materials.
Oversee
inventory management, stock reconciliation, and system updates (ERP/SAP/Tally).
Implement
FIFO/FEFO
and maintain strict control over batch and serial number tracking.
Plan and optimize
warehouse layout, space utilization, and manpower allocation.
Ensure compliance with
import/export documentation, customs clearance, and vendor coordination
for inbound and outbound shipments.
Monitor and maintain
safety, housekeeping, and audit standards
in the warehouse.
Develop and implement
process improvements
to increase efficiency and reduce damages or losses.
Prepare periodic reports on inventory status, GRN, stock variance, and logistics cost.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Graduate / Diploma
in Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant field.
5-10 years of experience
in warehouse operations, preferably in
electronics manufacturing or distribution.
Strong knowledge of
handling sensitive and fragile electronic products.
Experience in
import documentation, bonded warehouse, and logistics coordination.
Proficiency in
MS Office, ERP/WMS systems (Tally).
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Strong understanding of
inventory control, safety, and quality management systems.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of
ISO standards, ESD controls, and electronics material flow.
Ability to handle
multimodal logistics (road/air/sea)
and coordinate with freight forwarders.
