Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Video Editing Projects:

Take charge of editing a wide range of high-impact content, including trailers, teasers, reels, behind-the-scenes videos, motion comics, and digital promos for Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle.

Collaborative Content Creation:

Work closely with writers, illustrators, animators, and the marketing team to interpret scripts and storyboards into engaging visual stories.

Enhance Storytelling:

Add music, sound effects, typography, transitions, and visual effects to elevate the emotional and narrative depth of the videos.

Mentor and Guide:

Supervise junior editors and freelance collaborators to ensure consistent creative quality and adherence to brand voice.

Project Management:

Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely deliveries without compromising quality, even under tight deadlines.

Post-Production Pipeline Ownership:

Manage the complete post-production process--from organizing footage to final mastering, delivery, and archival.

Adapt to Trends:

Stay current with digital content trends and platform-specific formats (YouTube, Instagram, OTT) and apply relevant editing techniques accordingly.

Use of AI Tools:

Leverage AI-based tools for tasks like upscaling, rotoscoping, voice clean-up, auto-captioning, and animation enhancement to streamline workflows.
