We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production and post-production, with expertise in various editing software and a keen eye for detail. This role involves collaborating with creative teams to produce high-quality video content that engages and captivates audiences across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a polished final product, ensuring alignment with project objectives and brand standards.
Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and deliver compelling visual narratives.
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop, for video editing, motion graphics, and photo manipulation.
Manage post-production workflows, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects using software such as Final Cut Pro and Avid.
Create engaging motion graphics and animations using tools like Cinema 4D and Maya for enhanced storytelling.
Conduct quality control checks on all edited materials to ensure consistency in style and adherence to deadlines.
Maintain organized project files and archives using content management systems and FTP protocols.
Stay updated on industry trends in video production, editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continually enhance skills.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing video editing projects across various formats.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign), Avid, Final Cut Pro, Capture One, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Bridge, along with familiarity in 2D/3D animation techniques.
Strong understanding of post-production processes including video editing, photo editing, typography, graphic design, videography, filming techniques, and content creation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate creative ideas clearly.
