Job Description
for Big Data Tester in PELE: BIG Data (Hadoop HDFS) Testing experience. Experience with writing test strategy plan and test status reporting. Understand JIRA stories, use cases, business rules, requirements and acceptance criteria and convert them to test scenarios and test cases. Hands on experience in testing and comparing with large data bases and files. Experience in having in writing Hive Queries and Spark Queries. Hands on experience using Hadoop preferably Hive, HBase a nd Oozie workflow. Experience in Performance testing of web based with JMeter. Experience on performance testing tasks including scripts development, test executions, monitoring servers, analysis, and report preparations. Basic knowledge required on spark code and able to run the code in IDE. Scripting experience at least one UNIX Shell script Python. As project migrated to Azure cloud basic knowledge related to pipeline triggering, connecting the storage accounts by using spark shell. Must have working knowledge on azure cloud .
