Job description: - Hands- on experience in API automation using Frisby JavaScript and various other API automation tools frameworks and perform following job duties o Automation test Script development o Script Execution, debug, & fixing failed sc ripts. (maintenance) o Script reviews and ensure the scripts follows the standards defined as per organizational standards. - Improving & optimizing automation framework standards. - Has good knowledge on Automation of API Services - Has knowledge o n API Testing using postman and able to write DB queries - Coordinating with functional team (Manual teams) and developers to understand the scope for automation. Identifying and selecting the automation test cases. - Experience on working Cucumber-G herkin (BDD) Framework - Knowledge on Code Push Pull Creating PR and Code Merge with Master - Own and deliver assignments, which can be accomplished. - Has good attention to detail - Should have Basic SQL hands on experience. (PostgreSQL, Dbeaver) - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies tools and processes. - Able to work independently when there is a need - Should work with Onsite-Offshore Model. - Has great verbal and written communication skills - Able to use Jira for creating updati ng maintaining Jira test cases, stories, test set, repository and raise Defects - Able to use existing automated test cases and make updates to them as and when needed due to application release - Has experience working on Agile Scrum and Kanban proj ects - Has good skills in recording defects in Jira and developing comprehensive test cases that cover requirements to ensure comprehensive traceability and coverage of requirements - Able to handle CI CD tools Bitbucket - Able to Fix CI CD Pipeline script failures - Should support functional QA as when need to be by executing automation suites .
