The IT Quality Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.


Role Description:


Work with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team of automation resources for quality assurance

Work within sprint team to develop, and execute automation testing (sanity and regression)

Good CSF business understanding for Payable and ARDF modules

Work with regional and functional business managers, application managers, regional production support managers, vendor resources and project team leads to outline service agreements, test plans, environment scheduling, approve test scripts, report metrics, etc.

Work with Citi quality assurance teams in an onshore/offshore model

Work with teams in a collaborative style to engage partners and proactively manage activities.

Responsibilities:


Perform end to end automation testing of application including requirements understanding, test planning, test script development, test execution, results analysis and sign off, manage test data.

Responsible for Functional and Automation end to end enhancement delivery in production

Works with project teams and unit level team members to ensure alignment with documented development standards, SDLC, and coding frameworks for all application development efforts

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree (preferably in technology/engineering or related field). Master's degree preferred.


8+ years' experience in automation test development with following technologies: Selenium with Java-BDD Framework , REST API testing, CA Test Manager or related products

BFSI Domain expertise

Agile skill set

Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks preferred

Experience in SQL/Oracle

Knowledge in creating and maintaining Quality/Assurance documentation (test strategy & plan, test cases/scripts, defect reports/analysis, etc.)

Experience on JAVA, JUNIT/TESTNG, TeamCity/Jenkins, Postman, Bit Bucket, JIRA etc.

Has an experience working in Agile software development methodology

Deep understanding of Agile & lean values and principles

Automation framework creation

Leadership Skills:


Team player, Delivery focused, process oriented

Strong problem solving and program execution skills

Strong time management skills /Experience working within an on-shore/off-shore environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
