Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As a Territory Manager Sales at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in the Farm Division, your role will be crucial in driving enquiry generation and conversion for the Mahindra portfolio tailored for farmers with high land holdings. This will involve offering farm mechanization solutions for various crop stages, partnering to enhance farm productivity through the showcase of proof of concept and demo models, exploring new revenue opportunities for farmers, and upskilling laborers/tractor drivers to enhance application on farm mechanization equipment usage. You will be responsible for executing bundled solution-based selling strategies to showcase the superiority of Mahindra tractor + implement product range.

To excel in this role, you should ideally possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software will also be beneficial in managing and tracking customer interactions.
General Experience
For this position, we are looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or farm sector. Prior experience in the sales and marketing of farm mechanization solutions, tractors, or related agricultural equipment will be highly valued. Your experience should demonstrate a successful track record in generating leads, cultivating customer relationships, and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
Critical Experience
The ideal candidate will have critical experience in consumer insighting, credit management, customer relationship management (CRM), key account management, market research, negotiation, and sales planning. Furthermore, experience in performance management, training & development, financial reporting, and inventory management will be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, the ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams, along with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, are essential for this role.
