Quality Assurance
Navi Mumbai (On-Site)




To do Incoming Goods Inspection (IGI) for mechanical, plastic, molding, metals, coating, painting, chemical etc.
To update records into the SAP for daily IGI inspection and rejections details. Maintain COC, date code, batch code, expiry date etc.
To work with buyer and internal team to have resolution for rejected parts.
To prepare rejection / failure report, First Article Inspection report and share with supplier for necessary actions. Work with buyer / supplier to improve the Incoming Lot Acceptance ratio.
To co-ordinate with Buyer, Engineering, Production, Quality team to have resolution related to incoming failures and necessary actions. Resolution can be rework, return to supplier, scrap, use as it is.
To work with Engineering team to improve the design and add CTQ to have move more inspection coverage at IGI to reduce failures on the process.
Maintain SAP vs actual inventory at IGI area. Publish daily / weekly reports on inventory lying at IGI.
To prepare Documents related to IGI / IQC Quality control plans, Sampling Inspection plan, work instructions, check list etc.
To ensure all documents are upto date as per ISO requirement related to IGI.
To have knowledge of inspections and measurement equipment's related to IGI / IQC inspection and testing.
5S, Kaizan, continues improvement at IGI to improve the efficiency and reduce the rejection.
